The Chameleon challenge was introduced in May 2017.
Chameleana Seeds
Chameleana seeds are available in the Misc section of the Seed Shoppe for 5 gold each.
You can plant your chameleana into any of your regular pots.
Chameleana Flowers
To get started, simply plant one of the Chameleana flowers in your Garden (which can be found in the ‘Misc’ section of the Seed Shoppe). Once your Chameleana is fully grown leave some Wild Berries out on a low feeding table, and you’ll soon be attracting your first Chameleons! You need the help of the Chameleons to change the colour of your Chameleana flowers through the different colours of the rainbow. For full instructions, click the ‘Help’ button on the Chameleana flower when it’s in your Garden, and also check the Chameleon attraction information in the ‘Misc’ tab of the Wildlife Guide
Changing Chameleana Flowers Colour
You start with a Red Chameleana Flower in your Garden.
To change it to the next colour (Orange Chameleana Flower), you first need to attract at
least 10 Red Chameleons in your own Garden.
Then after you have attracted at least 10, when you next spot your 10th (or 20th, 30th etc) Red
Chameleon in another Garden, it will change the colour of your own flower for you!
As you progress through the Chameleon challenge you will need to add more Chameleana flowers to your garden,
progressively changing the colour of each until you have the required colours to attract each colour chameleon.
Remembering the same process as above for each step, you need to attract 10 before you spot your next
10th in another garden.
This challenge requires some good garden planning and skillful hunting (you’ll need to avoid spotting the wrong color Chameleons by making use of the alerts), so it’s definitely much more challenging than it may seem at first!
Good luck!
