Ultimate Garden Set-Ups
Chicks
The following garden setups are what we recommend, as a minimum, to attract the specific wildlife required. Where space permits you could always add more of the attracting plants to increase the likelihood of the particular type of wildlife visiting. Please remember that most set ups will still allow for visits from other wildlife that you may not be trying to attract, such as common wildlife and myths, these visitors are unfortunately unavoidable!
Before you can get a Bee Eater Chick to visit your garden you will first need to attract the Adult Bee Eater.
Every 10th Bee Eater spotted in your garden will nest in your empty Nest, if you have one placed in your garden.

When the adult Kingfisher is nesting in your Garden, it will have a task for you to complete before it will lay an Egg
(speak to the bird to ask it about the task – different birds will have different tasks for you.)
However, the task will always involve finding birds in other gardens. Once you have completed your task the bird will lay its Egg in your Nest.

A recommended Kingfisher Chick garden would include the following:

A recommended Nesting Woodpecker garden would include the following:
A Fully Grown Mushroom
(For great results use a Fully Grown Pink Cap Mushroom, unless you have not progressed that far, then use best available.
Alternatively, if you are able to, use a Supershroom as these often give even better results – please remember you may get Caterpillars though!)

1 x Empty Complete Bird Nest (part completed by a Woodpecker)
2 x Fully Grown Carmena Aviflora
1 x Fully Grown Red or Rainbow Butterpillaflora plant

and can be deterred by the Fully Grown Carmena Aviflora, use any color but Red to avoid attracting the Red Squirrel.
The High Tables will avoid attracting the Chipmunk
The Fully Grown Butterpillaflora plant will deter the Cuckoo
The Rainbow Butterpillaflora will cost less Rubies but use the Red if you have not unlocked that level.
To get the Woodpecker nesting, use an empty completed Nest that was partly constructed by a Woodpecker.

When the adult Woodpecker is nesting in your Garden, it will have a task for you to complete before it will lay an egg,
(speak to the bird to ask it about the task – different birds will have different tasks for you.)
However, the task will always involve finding birds in other gardens. Once you have completed your task the bird will lay its egg in your nest.
